Cecile was born and raised in Nashville.  She graduated from St. Cecilia Academy and the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.

Cecile is married to CJ Gideon Jr and together they have raised 4 children. They are proud to have added two son-in-laws and a granddaughter to their fold. They are members of Woodmont Christian Church.

Cecile has been a lifelong volunteer in community, church and school activities. Her prior professional experience includes corporate communications, corporate training, recruiting/hiring and team systems design. Cecil is a Certified Professional Recovery Coach (CPRC).

Cecile also holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Her interests include fitness, public policy and politics.
